Roaches
Most Roaches live in tropical climates. Even though there are several thousand kinds, only about 5 are commonly found in people's homes. Some species are found in the home when there are adverse weather conditions and they enter the home to escape those conditions. Other species are truely "investing" roaches, usually brought into the home from a infested location, where they now establish themselves in your home.
Roaches are a medical concern as they can carry diseases. It has also just recently been proven that Roach dander can cause asthma, epecially in children.

Roach Control:
- Roach control requires using the right professional products, but first you must identify what type of roach we are dealing with. Baiting for roaches is the preferred method of treatment, especially for indoor control. However, a combination of roach control products including spraying insecticides around the exterior of the home will ensure that roaches don't get in.
- Baits - For infestations where roaches range in a wide area. It may be the only way to control some types of roaches.
- Dusts - Can be applied to cracks and crevices where roaches hide. Pay special attention to all water source areas. One application can kill roaches for many months.
- Aerosols - Kill roaches on contact. Residual-type aerosols are great for treating around windows and vents, etc. to prevent future infestations.
- Liquid Insecticides - Generally used to spray a barrier outside against and around the foundation to stop roaches before they get inside.
- Outdoor Granules Bait - For use outside against and around the foundation; in garden beds and lawns. Helps stop roaches and other pests before they get to the house.
